Sheila Katzman is a passionate Applied Theatre Practitioner with over 25 years’ experience working in highly charged conflict situations, globally. She is co-Founder and Executive Artistic Director of Ten-Lanterns Transformative Theatre (TLTT), using methodologies of theatre of the oppressed, psychodrama, and sociodrama, as tools for social change. She holds an MA in Applied Theatre, University of Manchester; a BA in Broadcast Journalism/Media Studies, Hunter College, and a Teaching Diploma in Theatre Arts, The Edna Manley School of Visual and Performing Arts (Jamaica), and post-graduate credits in Conflict Resolution, CU/SIPA. Recipient of the UN Women Champion of Change Award.
