William H. “Bill” Wysong, MA, LPC, EMDR II, TEP
Like many of you, psychodrama changed my life. It also changed my profession. I came from an architectural practice, but my first personal psychodrama caused me to join a psychodrama training program. I then went on to obtain an MA in Psychology, an LPC, and a private therapy practice near Colorado Springs.
I have had many roles in my role repertoire, a few include; architect, Army Captain, Professor Emeritus of an architectural program, Licensed Professional Counselor, TEP, author, president of a ski club, actor in a community theater, and magician. I believe the variety of these professional and volunteer roles will help me work effectively with ASGPP members.
As an LPC and TEP I have provided psychodrama workshops and demonstrations for colleges, conferences, and organizations. I have also presented workshops at the annual ASGPP Conference for many years. Out of my interest and background in education, I wrote a book titled, The Psychodrama Companion about psychodrama, related theory and practices. I also maintain a blog covering similar subjects.
