Aida Hernandez, MA, LPC
Aida Hernandez is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience work- ing in the field of child and adolescent development, counseling and family health. She has been in psychodrama training since 2014 and is working towards fulfilling requirements for the CP credential. Ms. Hernandez is currently in private practice in Oakhurst, New Jersey where she provides counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. Infusing her counseling experience with her passion for research, she uses her skills for group work to conduct qualitative research and provide ongoing evaluation support specific to prevention, parenthood and relationship programs across the United States. Ms. Hernandez also has experience working with grants, at the state and federal level, adapting interventions and seeking collaborative support to address the diverse needs of various communities in New Jersey.
Ms. Hernandez is an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the New Jersey Counseling Association (NJCA). She currently serves as Treasurer for the New Jersey Association for Multicultural Counseling (NJAMC) a division of NJCA.
